Snow Melt Systems-
A snow melt system is a hydronic system that circulates warm water through PEX tubing under the concrete, asphalt, or other ground material. The warmth heats the ground material, which in turn will melt the snow, leaving no need to shovel or worry about ice. Aside from the initial cost of installation, the system is inexpensive mainly because it’s used only when it snows.
Boilers-
We install the highest quality and most efficient boilers on the market. A hydronic boiler is another form used to heat a house. Our boilers are constantly modulating to use the least amount energy, some benefits include:
- The baseboard copper pipes and aluminum fins take up less room and use less metal than the bulky steel ductwork required for forced-air systems.
- They provide more even, less fluctuating temperatures than forced-air systems. The copper baseboard pipes hold and release heat over a longer period of time than air does, so the furnace does not have to switch off and on as much.
- They tend to not dry out the interior air as much as forced air systems
- They do not introduce any dust, allergens, or mold into the living space.
Geothermal Heating & Cooling-
Geothermal heating & cooling use the earths mass to absorb or dissipate the heat extracted from inside the structure. A heat pump is used to extract heat from the structure, transfer it into the medium, usually water with small amounts of ethanol and glycol and then is piped into the ground, where the heat is dissipated into the Earth. In reverse when the temperature in the structure falls lower than the ground temperate the heat is pumped from the ground to heat the structure.
Solar Thermal-
Solar thermal energy (STE) is used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Thermal mass materials are used to store the energy and release the energy when needed. Solar thermal energy can maintain comfortable temperatures while reducing energy consumption. |
